Here are some fun pics that require explanation.
Cade soaking wet: I knew it was too quiet for a couple seconds, and the next thing I heard was a crash and a scream. Cade had overturned the dogs water dish all over himself! Oh the joys of a mobile baby! ;)
Cade wearing a crown: Kinsen and Jaybin spent the night this week and during the day Kinsen likes to play 'princess' . So Cade was named 'King Cade'. The '0' in the middle is for his age :) (according to Kins)

Cade had his 6 month appointment today and he is doing great! He is 29 inches long (off the charts!) and 19.4 pounds. I had to stop by Target to get a new car seat on the way home because I learned it's illegal for him to ride in his current car seat. He is too tall for it. The doctor says he is advanced developmentally...which is always fun to hear as a parent! :) He is so active these days that it seems impossible for him to sit still.
Yesterday Cade had a swallow study to figure out what is going on with his feeding issues. We found out that a good portion of his bottle is actually heading down the wrong pipe! This could lead to aspiration, pneumonia and/or asthma if not treated. For now, he cannot have any thin liquids...everything must be thickend. So, we will continue to put rice cereal in his bottle, and if we want him to keep using the sippy cup, we have to buy this powder thickening stuff. Hopefully he will outgrow this soon. He has another test in 3-6 months. We would appreciate your prayers for a speedy healing.
I am adding a couple new videos today. The one in his car seat is to show off his vocal cords. He loves to yell and squeal for no apparent reason. I think he just likes to hear his own voice. And then the other one is of him eating in his high chair. He is a mess! :)
